Q) How do I navigate through courses?

A) Courses are made up of modules and or a series of activities which need to be completed in order to do the next. If a course has multiple modules, you will need to complete module 1 with a pass score of 100% in order to gain access to level 2.

Within a module you will need to watch the interactive video and participate in interactive quiz questions throughout. You will not be able to proceed without answering the question correctly. You will be given further opportunities to get the correct answer as the course we take you back to where you can find the answer, at the end of the module you need to submit a score. A score of 100% will result in a pass.

Once a video is watched all the course videos with a score of 100% in each, you will be emailed a certificate as well as your dashboard being updated with AMTRA CPD points. This may take up to 5 minutes to refresh.

Q) How do I complete courses?

A) In order to complete a course, you need to have watched each interactive video, answered all of the questions correctly and submitted a score of 100% . Once this has been done you will be emailed a certificate or can download it from the platform. This signifies completion.

Q) How can I track how far into a course I am?

A) On ‘My Dashboard’ you will see a green bar below each course, this is your progress within a course and related to interactive videos watched. If it is at 100% you have completed a course, congratulations.

Q) What is the difference between AMTRA Accredited Courses and Additional Education Content?

A) Every course on the platform is added because we believe it helps users develop their knowledge within different disciplines. AMTRA Accredited Courses have an AMTRA CPD points “value” assigned to them, by completing these courses you can gain AMTRA CPD points. Additional Educational Content is added to help further knowledge through a series of videos developed in association with vets and key opinion leaders.  Whilst this content does not contribute to your AMTRA CPD points it provides excellent – mainly practical, advice and education from experts

Q) Can I still take part in an AMTRA Accredited course if I don’t have an AMTRA number?

A) Yes, definitely. The courses hold so much value to them and can be accessed even without an AMTRA number, the only difference is that your CPD points will not be communicated to AMTRA.

Q) How do I access my certificate?

A) At the end of each course, there is a box which says 'DOWNLOAD YOUR CERTIFICATE' once you have completed a course successfully by scoring 100% this button will take you to your certificate. It will not work until the course in complete and if clicked part way through a course may take you back to the start of the course or module.

You will also be sent an email upon completion of a course which will contain your certificate.

If you are missing a certificate please do let us know and we can issue a new one.
